Sunny days seem to suit the Dunkeld best, and it is so versatile that it can be fished in any position on wet fly leader. It is a fine fly to empty in water coloured by algae, mud in suspension or when the trout are taking daphnia. 

With its bright gold body and vivid hackles the Scottish fly must surly look every much as good to the fish as it does to the human eye.
